
Safety Administrative Assistant
The Safety Admin is responsible for a variety tasks related to both Safety and Claims including documentation, filing, maintaining and creating spreadsheets and communicating with a wide variety of personnel (internal employees, vendors, claimants, attorneys/legal and medical personnel)
Job Functions:
Safety:

Handles all safety related paperwork for field safety meetings and audits and regularly updates information in excel

Responsible for emailing Safety related announcements internally (in English and in Spanish)

Schedules all safety related training using TEEX
-
Orders safety related supplies and equipment as needed
Claims:
-
Records all claim information from claimant and initiates the investigation process (sends email requesting detailed written statement and photos)

Checks in with injured employees and documents any additional updates

Responsible for scanning/filing claims paperwork
Creates and maintains spreadsheets related to:

Safety meetings
-
Accident documentation
-
Training
-
Claims spreadsheet
-
Lawsuits spreadsheet
Requirements:
-
MUST be Bilingual in English and Spanish (read, write speak)

Excellent communication skills - Must be able to communicate with wide variety of personnel including office personnel, field employees, medical personnel and claimants

Must be proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel)

Bonus if certified in CPR, First Aid and AED training
-
Notary public is a plus
